Attorney Carlo Forzani has practiced divorce and family law in Connecticut since 1976 and is nationally recognized for his excellence in the field. In fact, he has been included in every edition of Best Lawyers in America since 1994, and he is listed in the Martindale-Hubbell® Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. He was also recognized as one of the Top Lawyers in Connecticut by Connecticut magazine in 2001 and by New York magazine in 2007 and 2008.

Mr. Forzani is a fellow and past president of the Connecticut chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, past chair of the Connecticut Bar Association Family Law section, and a fellow of the Connecticut Bar Foundation. He has been on the board of editors of The Connecticut Family Lawyer since its creation in 1986.
The author of many articles on trial practice, negotiation skills, valuation of assets and child custody, Mr. Forzani lectures frequently on legal topics. He has chaired many seminars on family law, and from 1999 to 2001, he served as a member of the advisory committee of the Collaborative Divorce Project at Yale University, a pilot project established to create a more constructive divorce process.
Mr. Forzani is an experienced litigator with trial experience throughout the courts of Connecticut and in the Regional Family Trial Docket at Middletown. Mr. Forzani is also a trained mediator and a member of Connecticut Collaborative Divorce Group.

Hazel M. Nicol has been a family law paralegal in Connecticut since 1982. In 1998, Ms. Nicol was one of five paralegals in America to be featured in Legal Assistant Today magazine for her trial support skills and emotional support to divorcing spouses.
In 1998, Ms. Nicol became one of the few paralegals in America to be designated a Registered Paralegal after successfully completing an advanced comprehensive examination. She has extensive experience in family law and procedure, related financial analysis, and child custody and parenting issues. Ms. Nicol has worked with Mr. Forzani for more than 16 years.
